Family charities benefit from Dunfermline health club Easter egg collection

A kind-hearted member at the Bannatyne Health Club and Spa at Dunfermline has donated more than 100 Easter eggs to one of its charitable initiatives.

All Bannatyne Health Clubs are collecting the seasonal treats, and each has chosen a local worthy recipient to receive them with the Dunfermline Club deciding to give 300 to Fife Gingerbread, which supports lone parent, vulnerable and disadvantaged families across the area and the remainder to Seal, which draws on the skills and talents of a small part-time staff team and local volunteers who give freely of their time.  Working together, they focus on building character strengths to help children and young people  develop resilience, confidence and self-esteem.

So far more than 400 eggs have been collected with an amazing single donation of 101 being handed to the club by member Alan Dalziel.

The club’s General Manager Paul Burke said: “We have been delighted by the generosity of our members but have been blown away in particular by Alan’s amazing gesture.

“Bannatyne Health Club and Spa at Dunfermline prides itself on being part of the local community and we are thrilled at how many Easter eggs have been donated so far.”

The Dunfermline Health Club, where the emphasis is on creating a sense of wellbeing, boasts a heated pool, sauna, spa pool, steam room, a well-equipped gym and a café-bar. The spa, providing a peaceful place to escape and enjoy some ‘me-time’, offers luxury treatments and features single and dual treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations and spray tan booth.
