Systal Technology Solutions has been awarded the ISO 27001 Information Security Management certification, validating their investment and best practice approach to information security management.
The ISO 27001 certification is the only externally auditable international standard that defines the requirements for an information security management system. An ISMS is a set of policies, procedures, processes and systems that manage information risks, such as cyber-attacks, data leaks or theft.
To become ISO 27001 certified, Systal underwent a rigorous evaluation process that included quality management system development, a management system documentation review, audit and initial assessment, which were all successful.
Obtaining the ISO 27001 certification confirms Systal’s commitment to security and the confidentiality of our customers’ information and technology. In today’s world the threat of cyber-attack is high, and Systal, through ISO 27001, demonstrates that their practices achieve a high standard of protection for their own business and that of their customers.
This announcement comes following a momentous year for Systal, which has seen the recruitment of over 60 new employees, the successful conclusion of numerous IT infrastructure transformations with a national energy provider, and win new high value projects with several enterprise organisations including a global whiskey distillery and a national energy fuels distributor. They have also announced a partnership with enterprise cloud computer provider Nutanix, allowing them to widen their technology offering.
Gary O’Neil, Director at Systal said: ‘Our commitment to information security has always been a top priority for Systal so we are pleased to see our efforts recognised with this new certification, and believe that this comes at a fortunate time when we are expanding our service capabilities and our reach. This ISO 27001 certification serves to evidence our continued high standards and the hard work put in by the whole team.’
